HIV/AIDS Care
St. Barnabas Nursing Home provides a comprehensive spectrum of services for individuals with acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). The unit is certified under the guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute. Under the direction of the Medical Director, experienced primary care physicians, social workers, addiction counselors, recreational therapists, nutritionists, consulting psychiatrists and rehabilitation-occupational therapists provide an extreme program designed to meet the individual needs of the resident. Our interdisciplinary team approach to resident care is implemented with dignity and compassion.
- Our 33 bedded unit provide persons with AIDS with 24-hour skilled nursing and excellent medical care.
